This pictures reminds me of the love of God. It is everlasting. His love never fails. To those having a hard time, CHEER UP! No matter what happens,trust on Him. Remember He is with you always. No matter what happens, He will always surrond you with love. ♥ Do not forget Him,as he never once forget you. Even though He is busy,he still continue to look at You. I'm sure he love you very very much,cause he even gave his son so that you will be free of sins. When you are crying,his tears flow too. He is also crying even when you don't. It's our first cellgroup celebrating HALLOWEEN! Starting,we had games. Zon led us in games. We played some number counting thing. Then we had the Charats(not sure how to spell) but it's like the game where you act and let your friend guess. In the end,the prize was given to the best dressed! (: Next,we have your first w532A praise then testimony as usual! Thereafter,we started our worship. It's more than amazing! I believe God is looking at our hearts and doing a work! After that,Jess shared a short word. Start of sermon~ Example of David: 2 Cron 16:9
Prob 4:23-You must guard your hearts or else it will run elsewhere. You will become who you mix with. Guard yourself emotionally,it will show your destiny. (: Do not condemn yourself,things happen for a reason. Man looks outwardly, God looks inwardly. God does not look at the mistakes but if you are quick to repent. Pure(heb):ketraros-27times in the bible;clean,free of condemnation. A heart that is never tested by fire is never evermost pure and strong. (: Do not lie to yourself,be more humble. Example of Jesus: Matt 14:13 Jesus's cousin was beheaded before he fed the five thousand. Matt 13:15-58 Jesus was disliked by the people. He faced many trails too! Matt 14:1-12 Distance does not matter at all! Jesus does not blame anyone for the trails faced! We shouldn't clump every single thing together,but handle case by case. -Fenfang,Mingzhu,Suzzane,Jeremy and Kim will be in charged of buying presents and writting cards for birthdays and writting a letter for encouragement for BIG EVENTS.
-Chelsea,Gabriel,Xuan Yi and Zon are in charged of deciding where to eat!
-Shimin and Joanne will collect the spiritual reports every week!
-Suzzane,Shaun,Esther and Elizabeth will decide the place to fellowship every week!

The reason of praying

Weeks back, i found this picture below from tumblr.
and it really impacted me alot!

It reminded me the reason of praying.
Many people prayed to God to ask something they want or need.
They too prayed to God when they are in difficult situation
Then I realize that whenever someone prayed, is because they need help
But when they do not need God , they forgot about the presence of God.
and some ppl, after they have overcome their difficult situation, they forgot to give thanks to Him

What I want to say is tat, do not just only come to God to pray to Him when YOU NEED HIM !!
But come to Him everyday, it might be a short while. Just a short chat.
God will be still be happy even though it is a short chat.
And always give thanks to Him once YOU HAVE WALK OUT OF THE DIFFICULT SIUTATION.
because IS NOT YOUR OWN STRENGTH that enable you to.
IS GOD THE FATHER THAT PAVE A PATH FOR YOU TO WALK OUT OF IT!

A short sharing from me.
2 years back, I was having my Os. I asked God for strength to pull me through.
God answered my prayers. After Os, I forgot to give thanks to Him. And for that period of time, the window of heaven was not open upon me.
But once i rmb, I gave tks to Him and apologised for not giving tks earlier.
3 days later, lots of blessings start to pour in.
Not just 1, but 3.
Not because coincidence. As there isn't so much coincidence for you to have.
I believed that is because of God

Yeap a short sharing.... :P
just hope that u guys can rmb God everytime. talk to Him !!! :P

Was greatly touched and moved by this song once again. Remembered hearing it when I first got saved in 2005.. "You are my strength when I am weak, You are the Treasure that I seek, You are my all in ALL", once again this song reminds me that God will never fail us! He is the only source of everything we ever need in our lives! Above all, He is our strength when we are weak and feeling lost. He picks us up when we fall, fills our cup when we are dry. What a wonderful God we served!

Looking back, God have always been faithful in our lives, to every individuals in W532! 16 more days and we'll have spent our 6months together in this cg. How time flies.. =)

Just thought of encouraging some of you who are going through a period of dryness, stress, pressures faced especially in school and work load. Remember the Lord is always "a" prayer away! Bible says when we pray, He WILL move! He is ever faithful to the unfaithful ones! Reverence Mike Connell onced shared to win our battles in the wilderness, we need to remember 4 things:

1. When you are going through the wilderness, you are not the only one!

2. God is faithful! (Remember the Bible say His name is called the Faithful One?) =)
(i)You'll not be tempted something you cannot bear and our God is the master of gold smith! He knows how to make us shine in the midst of walking through the fiery flame! =)
(ii) You'll not be tempted above the capacity you can't handle!
Times when I go through difficult seasons, I'll always use this verse to encourage myself that God must've thought "highly" of me that I am able to overcome it with Him! That is why He allows it to happen! (And if God allows, why doubt? :) Just keep on walking...) [1 Cori 10:12-13]

3. It is not too much!
Always ask yourself,
(i)What are the problems and issues you are facing today. (Identify the roots of the problems)
(ii)What do you need to let go of and to change?
(iii) What would God have spoken to you, that would help you carry through?(Eg, a verse that He'd spoken to you during one of your quiet time days?)

Therefore guys, never give up too soon or too quickly! God is always there to lift u up even when you can't go on! He really really loves you.. Keep on walking... soon enough, you'll be able to catch hold of His hands.. =) (PS: I love all of u very very muchie too!!! =p)

Reaching out is never about numbers. Reaching out is never about marketing nor hard-selling! Pastor Phil wrote in one of his book. "I'm not in leadership for the power, the prestige, or the rewards. I'm there because I care for people. I have the heart of the Father pulsing within me. People matter to God - lost people and found people. When people matter to us, other things we thought mattered more fade in importance."

I pray everyday that all of us in W532 will be the group of young people continously rising up to do more for God despite the good/bad times, to love God wholeheartedly and loving people fervently. Let LOVE always be the greatest motivation in our lives to keep us keeping on and to unite our hearts as ONE...

Visualising and Rehearsing your Miracle

He replies, "Because you have little faith. Itell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you."

Mustard seed is smaller than any other kind of seed, eg green beans.
Only when it is under the right environment, it will grow strong.
The initial(mustard) seed in us is the desire; in another word, desire is the mustard seed of faith.

There is prove of our desire, in which is to persue our desire.
We should always have the fire in us. Do not give up half-way.
There is a chinese idiom--半途而废, which means to give up half-way on the things that u are doing.

Getting out of our hiding/comfort zone

Hi W532-ians
yesterday i took a cab home from sch after my camp
and below is something tat God tell me yesterday and told me examples in life which is similar to us reaching out to our friends

The title of this post is called : To get out of our hiding/comfort zone!
All of us know that Jesus died on the cross for the sake of us
& we are now hiding in our comfort zone and afraid to get hurt
We need to go out there to reach out to the ppl out there, and off course that we will get hurt by the ppl
But are we tat timid to get this small hurt?
Jesus sacrifice His life for us, whom does not had any direct relation with, but He love us.
So this sufffering tat we are going thru are just INNIE MINNIE SMALL to Him.?
All of us say that you want to be more and more like Jesus, but all we did is to speak and no actions done.
so u also need to learn to sacrifise for the ppl that we love
We have to learn to sacrifice like what Jesus did for us so that there will many harvest
Is like a farmer, at first he must go thru hardship by plowing the land and planting the seeds , but when there are harvest, the farmer are able to enjoy the fruit that he deserve.?
So the farmer is us, the seeds are our friends. The hardships are the process of reaching out to them.
and the harvest is our friends whom we reached out to them plant themselves in the church and to grow and love God more and not forgetting to learn more abt their purpose in life :P
not just a farmer... a fisherman is another exampl...
and and recently i got back my results, it wasnt something i expected
but i learn something, and God relate it to the word that He told me
is like all of us have to go thru the hardship to study and we tool our exams to test how much we learn
isnt it similar?
the tests or exams are the testing time of our faith for us tp reach out...
hardships are the time we reach out to our friends
and the result tat we receive for our exams/tests are the harvest !!!

God reminded me this
"Do not despise your youth and your gifts !
Your gift is something special to you, do use it wisely and trust God that your gift can make a different in ppl's life ! "

hopefully what God told me impacted you....

This week is the March holidays. So all the secondary students, take a rest off studying.
But not totally, do still do some revisions.
As for those who are having O levels this year, jia you !!!
All u guys have to do is to go through this period.
I understand how you feel. You are feeling tired, and you are thinking that you still have lots of things to study
ok, relax!!! get some sleep! After you wake up, relax yourself, to prevent yourself to get tense
Even though you guys are having O level this year, but remember sleep is always something you really need.

Anyway, i just added the music session.
Hopefully u guys love the 1st and 2nd song
1st song is 祷告, which means pray. When you are listening to the song, listen carefully to the lyrics.
It is very meaningfull.....

It is a worship song, and is a very good song to listen and to sing when you are having your quiet time... :P

u shld know that we got our land, and is at SUNTEC CONVECTION CENTRE !!!!!
Aren;t u guys happy ???
I really think that Suntec Convection centre is really a very good venue.
Is not too far from the east nor the west!!!!
and is near the city area, so there will more places for us for fellowship
and it will be much more easy to invite our friends !!!!!

Anyway, Easter is coming !!!! lets not be in our comfort zone !!!! lets reach out to our friends....
I believe that Jesus is coming back 20th century....

Discovering Creative Ways To Increase My Giving

According to the leaflet that the church gave us on saturday
If you did not receieve any, don't have to worry!!!
I'm gonna post them up !!!!
But firstly i will say that i will be copying directly the same of the leaflet
but those in the brackets, will be something from me

Here are some creative ways that people in our City Harvest family are already using to raise more money for the building fund.
We suggest you try them :
1) Eliminate all excessive spending for the next 4 months.
Cut down excessive spending on clothing, cosmectic, facial treatment, etc. Save the cash for the building fund
[It means, do not spend money on the WANTS, but just spend on the NEEDS. Is like you need to spend money on your lunch]
2) Postpone all major purchases for the few months in order to give more
[Example, u want a camera, this is a want, not a need. So wait till after the arise and build to end]
3) Take a second, part-time job
A number of members are already giving provet tuition in order tobe able to give more for the Arise and Build campaign
[This if for the young adults and adults, not including those who are now studying in secondary sch]
4) Have everyone in your family locate the spare change in your house and begin collecting it all in one giant piggy banj
[Imagine, in 1 day u can locate at least $1, in 1 week $7, 1 month $28, 4 months $112]
5) Give your year-end bonuses, stock dividends, stock, bonds, or tax refunds
6) Go to a cheaper resort for your annual vacation.
The money saved could be added to your ofering. You canstill have a great time in a less expernsive venue
7) Hold a garage sale
You prabably have a garage or closet full of unused items that could be converted into casf. It is estimated that the average CHC member has at least $500 assets sitting unused in his or her storeroom.

There are 2 basic approaches to finding more cash to give:
~Look for ways to reduce your expenses
~Look for ways to increase your income

THE 10 LAWS OF THE HARVEST

Law 1 : Your seed must be PLANTED (Gen. 8:22)
there won't be any harvest if we don't plant seeds
Law 2 : You must render your seed USELESS to you (John 12:24)
Law 3 : You must plant what you EXPECT to harvest(Gal. 6:7)
you plant what you want, you cant be possible to harvest something else when you plant tomato
Law 4 :Your HARVEST SIZE is decided when your seed is sown (2 Cor. 9:6)
when we plant, we must be able to know what size of harvest do we want
Law 5 :Your seed must be planted in GOOD GROUND (Matt. 13:8)
Law 6 : The harvest always TAKE TIME (Mark 4:26-27)
there won't be any harvest on the same day you plant your seed, therefore there will always a waiting period.

Law 7 : You must MAINTAIN your CROPS for a proper harvest (Matt. 13:7)
Law 8 : Always sow TO your harvest size, not from your harvest size
Do not give little when you want a big harvest
Law 9 : A part of every harvest is for SOWING AGAIN
always keep sowing, or else we will be living in lack
Law 10 : GOD is a part of every harvest
Even though we get the harvest that we plant, but we must not forget that God is the one who is giving the harvest

Do not measure your giving, as we are actually limiting God's blessing for us
"Hundred old" means the optimum yield under any given circumstances
*Wrong thinking will stop us from getting the harvest !!!!!
No matter what happen, we have to remember to sow even during bad times
*God will be witnessing our faith for Him!!!!!

Childlike Faith(BUT not Childish!!) =P

Greetings all earthlings from W532!(: Thought that I should start the ball "rolling"! Seriously speaking, this is my very first time, in my whole entire life learning how to post an entry on a blog site!? (hahaha! not too bad, I managed to do it, thanks to Liping!:))

Just thought that maybe I should share something that really impacts me beginning this week. That's right, the title tells it all! Haha!

Been feeling unwell especially on last Saturday and Sunday's evening. After Sat's Chill Out Night event, went for Sam's family reunion dinner. Was really a great dinner but sad to say, I've over-eat again! This time it was so bad that it causes me to wake up in the middle of the night to keep vomitting and having bad running stomachs. Thought everything was getting better until I got hit with a bad fever on Sunday evening. BUT God was good (not because I thank God for illness but thank God for people He'd placed in my life!!HAHAHA! :P) because He'd shown me love+faith through members He'd place in my life! :)

Started receiving lot's of smses and msges from friends and members encouraging me that I'll get well soon and never did I know this member actually called these people up one by one to pray for my sickness(Upon knowing I couldnt meet him up yesterday afternoon). What touches me is that this member reminds me of having a heart of purity and a child-like faith! Through his faith, I've seen the love of God for people. Innocent yet pure. His action demonstrates his love for people. Through this, I realized that loving a person is more than word but your genuine demonstrations of love. Bible tells us that faith without work is dead. Love is an ACTION. Love is always GIVING. Giving your time, love, faith, patient and life to the person you love! :)

Wanting to find out more about a Child-like faith, I came across a podcast from Pastor Ulf Ekman. He shared mainly two verses from Romans 8:14 and 1Jh 2:12 on being Sons & Daughters (which we have been sharing and teaching in Church and CGMS)! Pst Ulf shared that we are children but we are not suppose to be children(meaning childish.)!

1. A child is not concern about the affairs of life! Eg: Trying to rationalize everything in a carnal point of view, you'll missed out a lot!

2. A Child is innocent! Eg: not being troubled or pre-occupied with things in the world!

3. In a Child, there is always simplicity in your life because of the Holy Spirit! Simplicity will never leave. If it leaves, joy will leaves you too. Skeptics and depression then begins to set in.

4 A Child has no pride and prejudice. Having pride and prejudice in your character, drives away the child-likeness in you.

All in all, to keep our lives pure is to really continue being like a child! A child can hardly defend themselves.

Just wanna encourage everyone to keep having this child-like faith in you. A person who is a child does not try to rationalize everything in their physcial point of view! Sometimes in life, we know that certain things doesn't seem to be working in our lives, we just got to keep on believing and confessing. "The Power of God is realized within us when we start agreeing with the truth(Word) even when it doesn’t look like it’s working." - Pst Phil

Therefore, never give up! Keep pressing on. Keep on fighting. Keep on running. If you are tired, never stop. Slow down and walk. At least u are not stopping! :)

Last but not least, just wanna thank God for everyone of YOU in W532 that He had placed in my life. You guys have always been such motivation and inspiration to me because... I've seen such Child-like faith in each and everyone of you! Looking forward for greater breakthroughs and revivals to come in this coming 2010!! I LOVE ALL OF YA!! Cheers! :) ♥♥♥
